Pan rigging webIsland Moving Co. presents a new site specific production in the tradition of its renowned Newport Nutcracker at Rosecliff and the Company’s legendary Dracula at Belcourt Castle.  In partnership with Rhode Island’s new Tall Ship, the Oliver Hazard Perry, Artistic Director Miki Ohlsen presents Second Star to the Right: A Tale of Hook and Pan, danced on the docks at Fort Adams and the decks and rigging of the Oliver Hazard Perry.  Live music and an original score by Tobias Andrews accompany the Island Moving Co dancers and cast members from the community. Performances are 6pm on September 8, 4pm on Friday, September 9th, and 11am and 2pm on September 10 with a gala evening on Friday, September 9th.  The production is suitable for adults and children over the age of 10.  Tickets to the Friday night performance are available here.
