The Company’s recent Opening Weekend at Rosecliff received a glowing review today, posted on the dancer website Dance Informa. Opening Weekend included sold out performances of Mother Goose and two evening shows featuring new works by Rodney Rivera, Danielle Genest and Miki Ohlsen. We were thrilled to have all of the choreographers on the program attend the performances. Audiences were thrilled to be able to meet and talk with Bill Evans, Rodney Rivera, Danielle Genest and Mark Harootian. Miki Ohlsen restaged the moving “Psalms,” choreographed in 1983 by the late Michael Thomas, who was a founding member of IMC. Read Kathryn Boland’s review here. Excerpts from Rodney’s beautiful “Memoria Y Vidrio” will be performed on the Casino Theatre stage at our show there on May 13th.
